Mrs. Guymon is the Reading Recovery Teacher here at Rocky Mountain Elementary. She has also taught third grade and preschool. She loves reading and wants to impart that love of reading to all of her students. Mrs. Guymon has four children ranging in age from 14-5. She also has a dog named Kooper and a frog without a name. When she is not at school, she is usually watching her kids play soccer or watching them do Taekwondo.

A unique thing about Mrs. Guymon is that she is a trumpet player and has performed at Carnegie Hall in New York and at the 2002 Winter Olympics in Salt Lake City. She teaches trumpet lessons too. She took a fabulous vacation to Canada this summer and saw three black bears in the wild. She loves to travel and would love to travel somewhere warm during the winter. Some of her favorite things include dark chocolate, frozen yogurt, country music, reading, hiking, traveling, and skiing.

Mrs. Guymon is excited to be teaching at Rocky Mountain and for the opportunity to work with such great people.
