The music commission helps coordinate the school music programs with the PTA keeping parents updated about schedules, concerts, and events.
Orchestra:
Open to all students 1st to 6th grade. Beginners and more experienced players are all welcome! The orchestra includes violins, violas, cellos and flutes. Students are highly encouraged to take private lessons along with orchestra.
We will have Choir and Orchestra concerts in December and April and the orchestra will get to play in the annual Spring Fling at Northridge Elementary in the spring!
Orchestra Rehearsal Schedule:
Mondays from 1:30-2:30 for AM kids
Mondays from 2:30-3:30 for PM kids
Starting on September 8th
Cost is $40 per year ($30 for siblings).

Choir:
Open to all 3rd to 6th graders.
Choir Rehearsal Schedule:
Thursdays from 3:30-4:30
Starting on September 11th
Cost is $15 per year.

Performance Dates:
Each year, the choir and orchestra perform a Christmas concert and a Spring concert. For concert dates and times, please see the Rocky Mountain Elementary Calendar.
